<\/a><\/p>\nPalestine Aviner for Childhood Foundation \u201cPACF\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>Established in 1998, PACF is a non-profit organization and one of the only specialized service providers for children with cerebral palsy CWCP and their families in Gaza Strip. PACF provides specialized education, social, psychological, leisure and vocational training services for CWCP\/ MD. HI started its partnership with PACF in May 2011 supporting outreach and center based rehabilitation services for CWCP\/ MD in Gaza City.<\/p>\nWithin a partnership agreement with Humanity & Inclusion HI developed in order to implement the project entitled\u00a0\u201cAddress the emergency and post-emergency rehabilitation gaps for the most vulnerable women, men, girls and boys with injuries and disabilities in the Gaza Strip\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0The project aims at mitigating the outset of physical limitations due to March of Return demonstrations\u2019 injuries and besides the rehabilitation needs of persons with disabilities whom became more neglected due to the prolonged chronic crisis; through provision of critical and lifesaving injury care and multi-disciplinary rehabilitation services for children and adults in order to maintain and\/or develop best functional abilities possible and consecutive inclusion in family and community life.<\/p>\nPACF<\/strong>\u00a0is currently looking for qualified candidate to fill the position of Social Worker (three positions).<\/p>\nDuty Station\/ Location:\u00a0<\/strong>North Gaza, Gaza, and Middle Area Governorates.<\/p>\nDuration:\u00a0<\/strong>10 months, with possibility of extension upon availability of fund.<\/p>\nStarting Date:\u00a0<\/strong>1st\u00a0May, 2019<\/p>\nUnder the supervision of\u00a0PACF<\/strong>\u00a0project coordinator, the Social Worker (SW) will work in\u00a0PACF<\/strong>\u00a0in order to support identification and assessment of needs, project database and conduct awareness community sessions with beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders, and fulfil the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n- Main duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
\n- Be present at\u00a0PACF\u00a0<\/strong>to register, assess clients\u2019 social needs and direct them towards the adequate rehabilitation, medical, basic services in the community that would ensure equalization of their opportunities and integration in the society.<\/li>\n
- Conduct field visits to shelter locations and homes of Persons with disabilities and Persons with injuries in order to assess Persons with disabilities\/ Persons with injuries needs for the identification of project beneficiaries.<\/li>\n
- Assess physical and social environment of the client in order to identify obstacles and facilitators and to make realistic plan of intervening on them according to the assessment form.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate with the project coordinator and other outreach team members in setting up the intervention \/ therapy plan for the Persons with injuries and Persons with disabilities to ensure a multidisciplinary approach in services planning and delivery.<\/li>\n
- Facilitate internal and external referrals of identified Persons with disabilities and Persons with injuries.<\/li>\n
- Map the existing resources in the community (services, funds, programs, human resources) that could be activated \/ mobilized to support clients and their families\u2019 increased access to needed services.<\/li>\n
- Ensure users and their representatives\u2019 involvement in project activities and follow up.<\/li>\n
- Participate in the technical trainings that Hl will conduct in order to improve the team members\u2019 intervention quality with beneficiaries of project services.<\/li>\n
- Respect and implement the quality criteria system that will be trained on by HI during working with project beneficiaries.<\/li>\n
- Support in entering the data of assessed Persons with injuries and other vulnerable groups using HI & Partner\u2019s data base forms.<\/li>\n
- Report project coordinator using the monitoring tools and reports\u2019 forms on weekly\/monthly\/quarterly basis.<\/li>\n
- Develop and monitor the implementation plan for the assigned tasks.<\/li>\n
- Conduct awareness session to Persons with disabilities and Persons with injuries\u2019 beneficiaries as per requested.<\/li>\n
- Map the existing resources in the community (services, funds, programs, human resources) that could be activated \/ mobilized to support clients and their families\u2019 increased access to needed services.<\/li>\n
- Lead and follow each beneficiaries\u2019 files including all assessment tools and reports.<\/li>\n
- Perform all project data entry work for each beneficiaries\u2019 information on the project database.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure data registered and collected on time.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate with the project coordinator regarding database registration and analysis.<\/li>\n
- Ability to produce compiled reports and share it on weekly basis with respect to the deadlines.<\/li>\n
- Manages the security and archiving of data under his\/her responsibility.<\/li>\n
- Ensures confidential data is protected in accordance with established rules.<\/li>\n
- Reports any data quality issues to project coordinator.<\/li>\n
- Ensures ethical principles related to M&E are respected.<\/li>\n
- Inform and follow with the project coordinator on any mistakes or data discrepancy, and ensure corrections took place.<\/li>\n
- Participate in the technical trainings that Hl will conduct in order to improve the team members\u2019 intervention quality with beneficiaries of project services.<\/li>\n
- Perform any other necessary duties as per requested by the project coordinator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n- Requirements:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
\n- A minimum university degree in Sociology or another relevant field.<\/li>\n
- A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience, preferably working with Persons with disabilities and Persons with injuries.<\/li>\n
- Very positive communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
- Excellent networking and coordination skills<\/li>\n
- Strong command of spoken and written English<\/li>\n
- Advanced Computer Skills especially on Excel<\/li>\n
- Excellent teamwork skills and spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
